On 9 November, 2009, Golden Stars Cinema at Citystars Heliopolis witnessed a grand premiere of 2012; the movie that has everyone apprehended about the upcoming disaster that will hit planet Earth in the year 2012.

The movie premiere featured decorations that manifested the destruction caused by the disaster that coincides with the end of the Mayan Calendar, thus making it very believable and causing a stir among fans worldwide.

This 158 minutes story, directed by Roland Emmerich, is said to be the last disaster film he’ll ever create after his other calamity masterpieces that include Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow.
